Ruka, also referred to as Rue, is a 9 year old husky mix who loves butt scratches and snacks. In September of 2018, Ruka was adopted from an animal rescue. Ruka has been living her best life in her forever home with her fur siblings, two cats, and her sister, Azura. Ruka is super laid back and not an overly active dog, although she is a real trooper during hikes and other activities. She doesn't care much for playing with toys, she enjoys lounging and being close to her mom and her sister. Fun fact: Ruka has had 3 surgeries, the first being her spay procedure, the second being an ear hematoma repair, and the third being another ear hematoma repair on the other ear (lucky gal). So now she has these adorable, floppy ears and she is as happy as can be.
Azura is a 3 year old german shepherd mix, who is active and adventurous but loves a good cuddle at the end of a busy day. Azura was adopted in July of 2021 when she was 3 months old, and she soon became Ruka's best friend, and her mom's little shadow. Azura is a shy, quiet girl but is very quick to learn new things. Zuri absolutely loves playing and swimming in water - this year (2023) she tried paddle boarding for the first time and did great! Zuri loves playing with her sister Ruka, spending time with her feline brother Raja and being included in any and everything her mom is doing. She is a very bright and happy pup and is the light of her mom's life.
Meet Oakley, an all-around good girl with a heart of gold. She loves snuggles, forest strolls, and mountain ascents with Mom. Treat enthusiast and fetch champ, this little four-legged explorer believes that life's too short not to chase squirrels and savor snuggles, AHC tags in tow.
Milo is a 3 year old Toy Australian Shepherd. We live in Alberta and love adventuring and competing in agility. Milo makes us laugh everyday with his goofy side and constant wiggle butt. We are so excited to rep Aurora Howlers Co. Such gorgeous tags and love supporting a Canadian business.
Hi im Kiowa (kai • uh • wah) + Monica from down in New Mexico. Kiowa is 74% gray wolf and is a BIG boy. Our mission is finding reliable, well crafted, and long lasting dog gear while we go on our adventures. Kiowa and I have a pretty active life in and outside of work, so having gear that lasts is a must. With him being a runner I really rely on having the best dog tags to keep my info attached to him at all times. With winter coming up our adventures are just beginning. Get ready to see more of this handsome boy.
Hi! Kinney (and Kate here). Kinney is a 1-year old aussie x border collie, aka, crazy but loving. You can find us living our best life in Golden, BC. We spend our days hiking, trail running, skiing, and evening canoeing! Kinney will never ever say no to treats, cuddles, or playtime but is happiest running on the trails with me. We are so excited to join the Aurora Howlers Co team as ambassadors. I travel for work in the summer so it is always important to me to always keep her tags updated!
Hi everyone! We are Kylo🐶 & Jess🙋🏼♀️ And we are SO excited to be repping Aurora Howlers Co! I first began fostering Kylo as my fifth foster back in April of 2021 and immediately knew this was the pup for me! Since his gotcha day we have been working on building our relationship based on patience, trust & love and I am so proud of how far we’ve come. Kylo arrived a nervous & anxious pup and has grown into himself over the past year to being a much more confident & playful guy. We love to explore and adventure together and continue our never ending journey of training & living a fun life! We first ordered from Aurora Howlers Co. when we met the incredible women behind the business via IG and fell absolutely IN LOVE with the quality & designs available. We cannot wait to share all of our favourites with you!
Fiadh
Fiadh is a 1.5-year-old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever living her best life on Vancouver Island. She is always willing to join her humans on any adventure they think of, including multi-day hiking trips, paddle boarding, and horse riding (well, walks with her humans riding). Along with all of the adventures, she also is always down for cuddles at the end of the day (and taking over the bed/sleeping bag if given any leeway). Some of Fiadh’s other favourite things include swimming, agility tunnels, and playdates with friends! We are very excited to join the Aurora Howlers Co. team and cannot wait to accumulate a collection of their beautiful tags.
This is Cora. She just turned 1 in April of this year. She’s a red doberman pinscher from Edmonton, Alberta area. She lives with her older brother Kobe, an orange cat named Emmett and of course her human family. She enjoys dog park play time, exploring trails with mom and dad and agility classes! She has a lot of collars as her mom loves to buy different styles for her. She is very sweet and likes to cuddle. She is definitely a “velcro” dog. Favourite treats are cheese and dehydrated chicken or beef!
Arlo is a 2.5 year old Brittany Spaniel and has a true zest for life. We spontaneously adopted him at 10 months old and our lives were forever changed. You can catch us outside hiking, camping, SUPing, running and swimming! He loves wearing his Aurora Howlers tags in all of our outdoor adventures and we know your pup will too!
Miss Harley is a Saint Bernard, Bernese Mountain Dog, Golden Retriever Mix! This 3 and a half year old girl is out here to prove all the large breed lazy stereotypes wrong, with her obsession with swimming, hiking, adventure and above all else FOOD! Her active lifestyle and lack of coordination requires heavy duty and sustainable gear that is as rough and tough as she pretends to be! We found aurora howlers and absolutely fell in love with their designs as they fit who our little family is to a Tee! Adventure is out there and every moment we get exploring together is something we cherish! Harley will forever and always be my soul dog.
Boone is a 1 year old Rescue that came from a reserve out Manitoba way, he was found infested in fleas, mites and mange with little to no fur left. This scraggly lil runt stole my whole heart as soon as we crossed paths. Since adding Boone into my life i have branched out in my own life as well as built his confidence each and every day. We frequent Provincial Parks for camping season where we paddle, bikejor, hike and kayak! In the off season (our personal favourite) we do many snowshoe adventures as well as kicksled putting his typical sled dog tendencies to great use!
Meet Skye, a 2 year old Field Golden Retriever! She lives with her family in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. Skye loves her daily romps through Pacific Spirit Forest, swimming in the ocean, fishing on their family boat or escaping to the family home on Saltspring Island! When she is not enjoying the great outdoors she looks forward to sharing her cuddles & kisses in her role as a Therapy Dog with BC Pet’s & Friends. Skye is thrilled to join Jordyn & the Aurora Howlers team as an ambassador! We already have a few AH tags and they are simply stunning!
Call me Addie, I'm a self taught beginner photographer. rocket is my main model, i sometimes take photos for other people or my friend, but i haven't in a while. I also like music and dystopian books
Rocket is my dog, he's a 7 year old vizsla pit bull mix, and reactive. I got him when he was 5 and just starter really doing training with him. He loves peanut butter, going for walks and playing fetch!
My name is Jillian, and my pups name is Brandy. She is a 7 month old Australian shepherd. Brandy and I share a lot of similarities, she LOVES other pups but is weary of new people. She is a very smart girl who absolutely loves her people, she’s my little shadow. My girl also enjoys any outdoor adventure, she can be seen carrying a stick along the trail or stopping to smell the pine trees. At home, our girl always brings us her toys and plays on her back. She brings us so much joy and we love having her accompany us on all our adventures!

Char is a potcake from St Lucia who is 2 and Harriet is a wheaten terrier who is 1. They are both up for any all all adventures! You can most often find us hiking, paddle-boarding and really anything that the girls can come with us (camping, patios, in the water, at work). Although dog mom and dog dad both work full time, we try to do something fun with the girls every day!
Meet Rue! She's a spirited and affectionate 1-year-old German Shepherd, utterly devoted to her favorite pastime: chasing balls. With thrill-seeking owners, she conquers Canadian Rockies' summits in the summer and enjoys playful winter days at her exclusive dog park hide-and-seek sessions. Despite her imposing appearance, Rue is a playful, sassy cuddle enthusiast who adores snuggling with her human companions. Her sharp wit and quirky charm make her the life of the party, and we wouldn't trade her unique personality for anything.
